Welcome to the Buckhead Chapter

Founded in 2019, the Buckhead chapter is one of the newest in metro Atlanta. Our chapter draws its members from the areas in and around the Buckhead Community of Atlanta. Our young men attend a variety of high schools including Lovett, North Atlanta, Westminster, Whitefield, Pace and Woodward. The Buckhead Chapter currently is enrolling new members and selecting philanthropies to serve and support.

Instilling a Heart of Service in Our Sons.

Members of the Buckhead Chapter of the Young Men's Service League are mothers and their high school sons who participate in a comprehensive four-year program dedicated to service, learning, and leadership.

Time passes quickly during the four important transitional years of high school. Our sons go from being boys to men right before our eyes. During this time, YMSL provides opportunities to spend quality time together serving side by side. Our sons will not only learn about other’s needs, but they will also learn about their own character and gain a new respect for the mother/son relationship.

Young Men's Service League (YMSL) is a non-profit national organization that initiates and encourages young men and their mothers to pursue philanthropic involvement in their community and provides an opportunity to enhance mother/son relationships. There are currently over 90 chapters across 15 states. Learn more at: YMSL.org

Join Us

YMSL is a sponsorship organization, which means a prospective member needs to be sponsored by a current member of the chapter she wishes to join. Enrollment for new members takes place during the winter of the son’s 8th-grade year for YMSL Chapters that have more than one year of operating history. Since the Buckhead Chapter is a new Chapter, we are accepting applications through June 30, 2019. Contact us to get more information for deadlines & dates. We can also connect you with current members to sponsor you. Click here for requirements.
